It may just be me because I cant find anywhere on the internet or through my network of Android friends that have this problem. I ask that you take 3 minutes to follow along with me and try this to let me know your results.

Problem: Disabled Apps become re-enabled after a reboot.

Reproduce:

1) Go to settings > apps > click on a google app (Im going to use "Books" in this example)
2) In the Books app info click the disable button.
3) Go back to the launcher and see that its not in your app drawer.
4) Reboot the phone
5) Go back to your app drawer.
6) Is the app there or still disabled?

Note: This happens to me on Stock and on CodeNameAndroid 1.3.0 and CNA 1.3.2 :(

Please note what ROM your using as well if your not on stock. Thanks.

Please help me out on this. I want to make sure its just me before I go through the length of pushing factory images back onto the device and starting fresh out of the box.

Thanks everyone!!!!

Hey dawg. I'm on CNA 1.1.4. I dont have a books app. Anything else I can try this on?
I just looked again to be sure...no books

yeah my google books and google video apps keep re-enabling themselves. annoying, but no big deal. i just stopped disabling them as it's pointless. the next update will probably fix it.

Are you aware that 1.3.3 just released? It doesn't look like the problem was addressed per the changelog Possible that the developer wasn't aware of it.

Try something like "Earth", "Email", "News and Weather", "Videos", "Voice Dialer", or "Youtube". Im running CNA 1.3.2 at the moment so you many not have some of these apps.

@dance, are you using stock or any other ROM?
