Disabling TW on Non-rooted S3

Is there a way to do this? I like using Nova Prime and TouchWiz is a joke, IMHO. I'd prefer to use Nova Prime and use something like Widgetlocker. And not have TW sucking up juice in the background. Is there anyway to do this without rooting it?

Kind of what I figured - can't do it without root. I was under the impression that it still took up some juice since it was still sort of active - lock screen, etc. Thanks for the input, though.
