Disappearing Icons Using Google Experience Launcher

I've been using GEL as my launcher since it became available using the apk provided on Android Police.

However, after the update that was posted a while back to search (I believe that's what the launcher is built into), the bottom right app icon will dissappear when switching between portrait and landscape like shown below.

Has there been an update that I might have missed? Anyone have an apk?

This seems to be a frequent thing when apps get updated. I just pull them back down from the app drawer.

I'm aware of that problem, but this is because of switching between portrait and landscape. Nothing to do with the apps themselves.

Have you been able to find a fix yet? I'm having the exact same issue on my Nexus 7 2012.

The far right icon dissapearing is an issue with the google experience launcher not individual apps
