Hello, everyone.

I've done a search of the web for my problem and have so far found nothing to help me.

I have had my Galaxy S9+ for almost two months now. I just recently discovered that I can download content (pictures, gifs, etc) and make a new album in my gallery, but then it all vanishes from my phone like it never existed to begin with. I've checked in "My Files" and none of it is showing up there either. I'm wondering if anyone else is having this issue on their S9/S9+ and, if so, if they have figured out the solution to the very aggravating problem.

Thanks in advance.

Are the pictures really downloaded or just taken from the cached files from the browser? Cached files get automatically and periodically purged from your device (think of the temporary folders in a PC). If you saved them to your device, are they being saved to internal memory or SD Card? If the latter, that could be a signal that your card is damaged/corrupted and you should stop using it or you'll keep losing data. If it's saved to internal memory and the folders are being backed up to a cloud service, check that service's app settings to make sure no 'space cleanup' option is selected that would cause older files to be removed from your device to free up space (if that's the case, the files should be backed up in the cloud service you're using). Finally, check if you aren't running any memory managers that claim to be cleaning up or freeing up space by getting rid of 'temporary' files as they might be mistaking those files for your downloads and wiping them.
