I really hope someone can help. When I download updates, occasionally widgets disappear. Usually I just uninstall and redownload, but now my maps widget is gone. It's still listed under apps, but no widget! HELP!!

Yes, this happens some time. Its no big deal.

No need to get all excited, just re-create the Icon on the desktop, by opening the app drawer and long pressing Maps.

Its important to use the correct terms when asking for help. As far as I know there is no widget for maps.
There is only an ICON.

Not only did your advice not work, but it was also quite rude. I just switched from an iPhone. Thanks anyways.

This happens occasionally. The easiest way is to restart phone and then widget is available again.

There is no reason to be so distasteful. This should be a place to help others and get help in return. Be more respectful and kind. You were new to android at one time too.

Please don't resort to immature insults and denigrations.

Thanks :).

Look, she posted pleading for HELP in capital letter.
I told her exactly how to solve the problem and I get called Rude for my efforts.

What part of of my original post was rude?
What part was incorrect?

The way I look at it is if you come to a help group begging in capital letters for help and get the correct answer in half an hour flat
and then you turn around and get petulant you deserve anything you get. My big mistake seems to have been giving the correct
answer. I should have explained how to use the Show Me app to find her own answers.

If you have an issue with a member's post, report it or express it privately. This thread is no place for that.

Thanks.
