I have the t mobile version, and I'm disappointed in the battery life. At the end of my day my s7's battery level is almost the exact same as my galaxy s6. I was so excited to get better battery life. I'm hoping it gets better......

Surprising to hear. Substantially larger battery in the S7 with a much more efficient processor along with Marshmallow which is a significant OS improvement. Let it settle in for a few days while the phone does its updates, indexing, etc. and definitely report back!

I've had it since the 3rd of March. It's all updated and didn't update once today. I used it the same amount at work as I did with my galaxy s6.

Funny thing is, samsung never claimed better battery life. Just a BIGGER battery. The way things are now, I'm not expecting super battery life. I'll just be happy if we ever get it

I'm extremely disappointed in battery life so far. Down 9% with 30 minutes of screen time with brightness turned almost all the way down. I probably won't be keeping this phone.

Hearing this makes me suspect MM, not so much Samsung. MM destroyed my battery life with my G4.

That is obviously not normal

Keep in mind while a bigger battery, the screen is also a lot larger. I really hate seeing
topics like these before 99% of people have even received their phones to see for themselves.

Using a phone a couple days hardly qualifies this, let alone talk of getting rid of the phone as everyone knows battery use is usually bad at first and gets better over time.

I totally agree but this happens every time a new phone releases. Nothing new.

Had my phone one week. Got 6 hours and 30 mins of SoT yesterday. First few days were mediocre. Then I started averaging about 4+ hours. You guys are judging way too early.

Do you have the Regular S7 or the Edge?

The phone is not bigger. I'm going from the s6 to the s7.not the edge

Definitely seems abnormal. I've done a factory reset and restarted multiple times.

Just got mine yesterday but I worked night shift last night and I was averaging around 1 hour screen on time at 85 percent battery left. I wonder if you have a slight app drain or something
