Android Central Question

Hello!
I know that Google Play Services always has a few services running on my Galaxy A50 (GcmService, LockScreenService, LocationService and so on) and I'm OK with it. But does anyone know what the service called DiscoveryService is responsible for? It launches infrequently (about once every few days), for a couple of minutes, and, when completed, leaves behind in RAM a lot of apps running briefly in the background (as a rule, this is everything that is developed by Google - Maps, TTS, YouTube). Perhaps it has something to do with finding their updates in the Play Store? If anything, I have auto-update enabled.
Thank you in advance.

Discovery Service doesn't come back as anything doing a search , if you can't uninstall it then it's a system app and shouldn't worry about it . You going come across many applications and system apps on your device you won't understand or familiar with so I wouldn't go crazy searching into this .
