Phone (Note 8) updated this morning and EVERYTHING has changed appearance! I hate it!!! Lost my background pic in messaging and the new default bubbles are ugly!!!! Can it not be changed?? Looked everywhere and can't find a way to fix!

This has been in the news and on few devices for sometime. Every tech journalist appreciated Samsung's approach. I like the UI how streamlined it is except not really comfortable with camera changing modes(I guess I can live with that). I don't think it is possible to please everyone with a change. The only option for folks like any us who can't take it is to move on to different device.

Can you not even change the look of the Messaging app like the background or text bubble color? that light blue shade is ugly as hell!!!

Not by itself. But if you go to the these store and change themes with different message colors matching the theme,
