Display Question - Instagram

I notice when I view stories in Instagram that where there is text involved sometimes it's cut off at the edges. Is this because the resolution or aspect ratio on thay device is different or is there something off in my display settings?

From what I've heard the text gets cut off when the user posting to their story is using an iPhone and the person viewing is using Droid. Haven't found a rationale or a fix though.

Create on desktop or tablet then shared or uploaded and added to their feed or story. Would need a photo editing app that optimized for IG.
