Display Screen Timeout

OK, does anyone know of a way to stop the display timeout from resetting to 30 seconds all the time? It used to happen on my 3XL and has continued on into my 6 Pro and it's driving me nuts. I have turned off the Adaptive Battery option because I saw somewhere that that could be the cause but it's still happening. I assume it is an Android 12 issue and if anyone knows how to change it, I might fall in love with you, LOL

It's under the settings>display settings>screen timeout. I always keep my phone set to 2 mins before it times out.

I've done that, the problem is that after and un specified amount of time, it resets back to 30 seconds... I've restarted phone, tried everything possible that I know of and it keeps happening

Oh interesting, I haven't experienced that.

That issue is usually caused by some kind of battery optimisation. It can be from the stock settings of from a third party app. Do you have an antivirus or any RAM/battery booster app?
