Just recently got the G6 after having a Galaxy S5 for the past two years. Pretty nice device! One thing I don't like about it though is compared to my last phone, the colors when watching videos don't really seem to stand out much and are kind of washed out. Is there any way to fix this? Any kind of different display settings? Like Vivid mode, cinema, etc. That kind of thing?

Hello! So glad you are liking your G6! On my G3, I'm pretty sure under Display in Settings, there was an option to change colour layout. Perhaps the equivalent exists for the G6?

Yeah I don't see anything like that

There are no color modes like on Samsung phones. Generally, you can change the colors to a night mode, but other than that, that's it.

No.... Samsung uses Amoled which makes colors more saturated.

That's Samsung's big thing, the vibrant colors. Nobody really understands that those colors are far from being accurate.

I'm coming from an s8+ and i think the colors on the g6 look fine,sure they're not as vibrant as samsung's phone but they look very good on high quality videos on youtube. More than enjoyable overall.
