Display timeout is driving me insane any help is welcome 🥴

My Note 8 display timeout keeps resetting to 10 minutes! I go in change it to 1 minute it will stay like that for a day or so then it changes itself back to 10 or 30 minutes. Anyone else have this issue? Is there a fix? If so Pleeeaase advise!!

Why would medium power save or adaptive increase the screen timeout? I would think the opposite should occur. But in his case the screen timeout increases so the screen will stay on longer.

True, I thought was doing opposite, try safe mode maybe a app changing this .
