As a reader of many different blogs, I have grown to love Disqus-powered commenting systems, AND I REALLY WISH AC WOULD UTILIZE Disqus on this site! Disqus handles notifications of replies very well, and it offers me a dashboard through which I can keep track of my conversations across all of the blogs I participate in.
I don't know the reason why AC failed to use Disqus in the first place. What I DO know, though, is that my participation on AC blog posts is a broken, isolated experience, and that is starting to annoy me, AC. Every other blog out there is using Disqus -- part of bigger ecosystem rather than a little world unto its own, like AC is now.
Please consider using Disqus soon!
