Dissecting battery life help

I am getting about 10 hours with 20 % battery left. Screen time ranges -2-3 hours. I see people talk about going all day without charging. Are these people using their phone less than me? See the attached screenshot but 34% cell standby seems high.

well your signal is poor and you are on 4g. i bet if you switch to 3g and get better reception your battery life will improve.

I live in an area with poor cell service. Is there way to keep it on 3g?
