I'm VERY happy with my Moto, but this one looks absolutely stunning! Did the announcement made you feel like your sexy Moto might be in danger and soon you'll need to have look at it and say: Hey Moto... we need to talk.?

Nope. :)

Made you at least doubt? Take a look at both and say: Yeah, you're still the one, baby.

I might make the switch if the price is reasonable. I like the looks, no flat tire, and the ability to use any off the shelf band.

I like the no flat tire, but don't know if it'll have either good battery or some other sort of magical ambient sensor. I'm also not a fan of the charger pins, but the watch does look appealing.

waiting on price, if reasonable bye bye moto 360

Still love my 360. This is really nice though. Perhaps this or the Zen as second watch. Also, some people seem to think this watch solved the flat tire issue, but I don't see it that way. The bezel is still thicker and it has flanges. I still prefer the near zero bezel of the 360, with it's completely flat face for easier swiping. I tried the GWR, which is also nice, but was surprised at how the raised edge of the bezel kind of got in the way when swiping. Just my opinion though.

I am impressed after the IFA demos but the only thing that is keeping me from not ordering this is the battery....

Yup. Ditched for the Huawei watch. 360 was a good watch but no always on feature was a deal breaker for me. Hated having to constantly over turn my wrist or flick it to get it to come on.

Just got the Huawei Watch. It's faster, more responsive, nicer screen, and the battery appears to last longer than my Moto 360.

My 360 was my first try at wearables, and I was pretty happy with it. I gotta say, though, the flat tire REALLY annoyed me. I love the concept of customizable screens, so it became a real limitation to getting the full feel of some of the watch faces I like.

Honestly, seeing the full faces on the Huawei Watch...I can't ever go back to a spare tire again. If Motorola had gotten rid of it for the 2015 model, I might have stuck with them.

I got a Huawei Watch since my Moto 360 v2 order has been delayed. I thought I was going to keep it, but the red tint on the screen is starting to concern me,so now I'm not so sure. You don't buy an AMOLED watch to have reddish blacks.

I got a Huawei Watch 1 week ago and have worn/used it every day. It's the base model (silver body, black leather band). $349 at Best Buy. $371 with tax.

I got a 46mm Moto 360 (2015) which I received today. I ordered it via Moto Maker so I could get black body, black knurled bezel, and black leather band. I've been wearing it for about 4 hours now. $369 from the Moto Maker website. $390 with tax. No shipping.

So far:

I like the bigger size of the M. It does make it a little easier to read (for me, who often has to wear reading glasses).

I showed them both to a 30-ish year old woman that works in my office and asked her opinion on which one I should keep. Obviously, that was just based on looks. She picked the Moto without hesitation.

I also like the looks of the Moto better. The all black with the knurled bezel looks classy in an understated way. The H is a really nice looking watch (to me, of course). I just like the M a little bit better.

I like the lower profile, knurled bezel of the Moto better than the H, which sticks up a bit.

I like the leather band on the M better. It's a little thicker and has a more sturdy feel. And it's 22mm, where the H is 18mm wide (I think).

The ambient mode screen on the H is slightly brighter, when both are set to Brightness of 4. With the M set to "Auto" brightness (which the H does not have), in my office the H is noticeably brighter. I think the advantage here actually goes to the M and the fact that it has an Ambient Light Sensor. My H is pretty bright at night, even in Ambient mode. I feel obligated to put the H in Theater mode when actually at a movie, so as not to be distracting. I think the M would be okay to be left on while in a movie.

The screen (non-Ambient mode) on the H does look a little nicer/brighter, I think. And I DEFINITELY prefer the "no flat tire" look. But, functionality (like being able to read it more easily and using a wireless charger) are more important to me. I think the screen on the M is definitely good enough (for me).

I just plopped the M down on the generic Qi charger I have on my desk for when my phone gets low and it started right up charging. I don't want to have to spend more money to buy additional chargers for the H watch, just so I have one at work or in my truck for "just in case" days. I am pretty committed to Qi for all my devices that can possibly use it.

When I lay them both upside down on my desk and lay a straight edge across the back of both the M is just slightly thinner. I like that, too. If the H didn't have the bezel sticking up, though, it would be the thinner of the two.

Those are just my first impressions. I'm going to live with the M until around the end of the week before I make the final decision on which one to keep and which one to return. Of course, battery life is somewhat important. After the first day, the H has been consistently going all day (with everything, including WiFi, turned on) and still having around 40% battery life left by bedtime. The M needs to do at least close to that. Hopefully, with it's 33% larger battery it will actually exceed that, but the LCD screen may prove to put the kaibosh on that notion. We'll see.

@StuartV

Your observations mirror mine, and I ended up keeping the 360. I've never gone to bed with its battery below 40%, and that's with everything on, music control, navigation...

Thanks very much for the comparison. I've been battling in my head for weeks on which one to get and I'm finally leaning toward the 360. Your post has pushed me further into that direction.

Yesterday was my first full day with the 360. Thus, I probably messed with it a bit more than normal - though not really much more, as the H watch already got me used to having a smart watch. Anyway, I took the 360 off the charger at approximately 8am yesterday and I went to bed at 1am. So, 17 hours off the charger. When I went to bed, I still had approximately 40% battery. And that is with having everything on the watch turned on - Tilt to Wake on, Always-on Screen on, WiFi on, Card Previews on, CloudSync on, Brightness set to Auto, Wrist Gestures on.

I LIKE it! :D

The H watch is going back to BB today. If anybody wants a like-new H watch for a discount (I think they do 10% off?), there will be an Open Box at the BB in Manassas, VA, shortly...

Just wanted to jump in here. Went from a, Galaxy Gear 2 to an original Moto 360 to the 2015 version to the H.

Overall I liked the 2015 Moto a little better, but after hearing about the speaker in the H, I returned the Moto and went with H.

Having audible feedback was something that I really missed from the Galaxy. Really helped when trying to text without the need to look at the watch while doing other things like driving, etc.

Just need Google to enable it in Android Wear now...
