I have the extended battery and like others needed a case because I think the nexus on its own is to slippery.

Ordered the diztronic and love it. Buttons for volume line up but were not long enough. Finally cut them out. I wondered why they were covered and the power button wasn't. CS said it was because of it then being too loose. I can accept that rationale.

Also using extended battery causes the case to be less pronounced when wrapping the bottom portion of the screen.

Case mate Pop. Love it. Adds some bulk but after a day you get used to it. This is my case for now. It doesn't accept the version car charger because hole is too small. The car charger w the USB slot works as do my old Motorola and HTC chargers. It is also lacking noise canceling mix cut out. New one will be shipped when available.

Attached are pics of both original versions of the cases. Will post a video or pics when both cases comes in.
First pic is the tpu case.

So how to they compare in grippiness(haha) and thickness? Do you think one provides better protection than the other? How about a backside shot of both? Would you say the price of the POP case makes it worth 3x the $ of the TPU case? Thanks Big Tony!

I just got an email from them.
If you have the case or bought the case they will send you the redesigned version which will have a wider opening for the usb connection and the second mic at the top of the device.
Pop grips better on the sides. Back feels like a hard plastic so it's a bit slippery in the middle.
It's bulkier then the TPU case, but I have one on my ipad and this one fits nicely.
Tight to put on the first time or two, but then it's gold.

I will do a video so give me to the end of the week.
If the cases were the same price. POP wins.
If the casemate kind of fit like people are doing with the Seidio, then the TPU wins because of the price.

Case-mate gives it some more weight which I like and will definitely protect it more if it falls especially in the corners. TPU comes with a screen protector which is smaller then the screen, but I have a replacement zagg waiting on my desk too. Figured I would wait for the new POP to arrive.
Then if they don't want the old one back I was thinking of sanding it down, and doing some funky airbrush design to it.

Add:
I have a micrometer at work so I can give you the difference using that too if you want.

Thanks for answering with so much detail, just what i was hoping for. I have been on the fence about whether i will replace my Silicrylic case anytime soon, as soon as the POP2.0 is released ill be purchasing. Thanks again.

A video comparing the two will be done tonight or tomorrow.
The new Diztronic has cutouts for the volume which I like, but the casemate just feels right, and I have small hands.

Video was corrupted on uploading argh.
I will give it a shot tomorrow night using Vimeo as the host instead of youtube.
Will provide a link as soon as I get it up.

Tough luck man, thanks in advance for the video. Im really looking forward to the new, redesigned Pop case.
