DND issues

Quite a simple problem which I cant figure out.
DND works as scheduled, it turns on at 7am and off at 1pm (night worker)
Occasionally I turn it on manually earlier 6am 5am etc, but it doesn't turn off unless I physically turn it off.
Ie 13:10 when I checked DND is still on.
How can I get it to always follow the schedule for on and OFF even if I manually turn it on.
So it will ALWAYS turn off at 13:00

Try disabling the schedule in the DND settings and set up a Bixby Routine. Set up the "If" to start at 7 and end at 1. Set up "then" to turn on DND. Maybe this will remedy your issue.

Bixby and alexa ect are not an option, I like my phone locked down to what I can do, fed up with all the junk adverts ect that get pushed through by bixby and alexa listening, I'm not paranoid I just hate adverts and snooping 100%
I can use tasker but it seems a stupid oversite that if its manually turned on then it has to be manually turned off.

i have similar issue like yours. scheduled DND starts fine, but it doe not seem to turn off.

i believe this is a bug with the current UI 2.5

Yep, had the same problem with my N9 after it updated and now that I have the N20 Ultra, same thing.

I would create a new rule for that time. Make sure it doesn't interfere with your daily routine. You should be able to create a start and end time. The problem is that you are turning DND on at your own convenience meaning a rule was not established so it does not know when you want to end it. There is nothing technically wrong with that other than it giving you the option to turn DND on and off whenever you want. It is a great option when you don't want to be bothered at the moment from a spouse, friend, email, texts or social media notifications at that time. I know sometimes my DND does not start up at all. This happens every now and then. It has glitches here and there.
