Do I have a faulty vibration motor on my Nexus 6?

I got my Nexus 6 yesterday from AT&T and one thing I noticed when typing or hitting a on screen button is that it seems like i hear a click near the top speaker I am not sure if this is a sound effect but when I put the device into silent mode I still hear it, is this normal or there something wrong with my Nexus 6
