Do I Have To Get The Phone I Pre-Ordered To Get My $200 Gift Card From Best Buy?

So, I pre-ordered the phone through Best Buy, and I will get the $200 gift card for trading in an old BlackBerry. Now, do I have to get the phone when it comes in to the store, or can I get one two weeks later?

I ask because I am very uneasy about getting the phone (and using it) before I have proper screen protection and coverage.

Also, is there really any risk of these phones not being in stock during the next 5 weeks?

Best buy will only hold the pre order for 48 hours.. No telling how availability will look within the next coming weeks. The best buy promo does however expire 11/1/14

I see you have a Yankees avatar. If you live on long Island the phone you're trading in has to have been purchased at a best buy to qualify. Stupid rules these stores have from one location to the next.

Thanks, yeah, I know. I had to go to ******* Queens to do my pre-order, and I have to go there for my purchase... Ugh!

They will only hold the phone for 48 hours. $200 promotion is ending in a few days I'm pretty sure.
