Do I have to have a 3D tv to play 3d movies?

I have a 1080p tv and i am not sure if it does 3d. If I hook my phone to it will the green hornet play through 3d or does it have to be a special tv?

I'm pretty sure you need to have a TV that can display 3d content.

I saw a 3D video taken on the Evo 3D where it was converted to the cyan and magenta style of 3D that can be displayed on any ordinary television. I don't know what, if any, special software is needed for that. If you play the video on a normal television it will appear blurry.

How to you plan to play the movies or video's from your phone in your TV? There isn't an HDMI port on my phone like there is on my other EVO 4G.. Would a micro usb to HDMI cable work?

Lol what else is there to use? To answer your question yes a micro usb to hdmi connector would work. Or you can get a mhl adapter which is the same thing, but lets your phone charge while it's connected to the tv.

Sorry, its my first phone which I would even consider connecting to my TV so I really had no idea. I'll head out and hunt one down later today and let you know if it works on my 3D TV if you want.
