Do I have to remove voodoo before going to stock?

I'm going back to stock by flashing CI500_VZW_DL09_ECLAIR.tar.md5 via Odin.
I currently have the a voodoo froyo rom installed. Do I have to disable voodoo before flashing and if so how would I do that?

If you wanted the practice you could disable voodoo prior to Odin DL09 but it is not needed..

The Odin process will flash over the file partitions.
