Do I need a dongle to Chromecast video from my Galaxy S7 to my Xbox?

The Xbox is connected to our router via ethernet cable.
Galaxy S7 is running Oreo.

If the XBox does not show up as a cast target - yes. Usually you plug the Chromecast into the TV though.
