Do not disturb feature no longer works properly after the last update

[Android Central Question]

My phone updated recently (I believe to 12), and now Do Not Disturb is suddenly allowing notifications to sound. I've tried toggling all the settings on and off for it, restarted my phone and everything, but no matter what, every time I get a notification, whether I'm on my phone or it's on the lock screen, it chimes.

Welcome to Android Central! If it's a Samsung phone, try clearing the cache partition.
