Do Not Disturb on Lockscreen

I have recently started using notifications on my lock screen. I also allow and block the ones I want/don't want to see.

I use Do Not Disturb mode everyday. I can not seem to figure out how to get it off my lock screen...any ideas which app/setting to block?

Setting/Sounds and Notifications/. In Notifcations section, select Notifications on Lock Screen.

That part I can get to. After that, I don't see a way to turn off the do not disturb. I am able to turn on and off everything I want, except showing the do not disturb.
Can you attach screen shot, maybe its stating me right in the face, but for the life of me, can't seen to tutm off the DND on lock screen

It's a toggle in your Notification section. Pull down your notifications and click edit at the top. You should see the toggle.

I understand all that. I want to continue to use do not disturb. The only thing I don't need is to be in for.bed that it is in in my lockscreen notifications..

I use DND, I want to continue to use DND, I do not want it to show up on my lockscreen

I'm quite certain that you can't remove it from your lockscreen without rooting your device.
They probably have it set up that way so you don't accidentally or intentionally put "Do not disturb" on your device and then you forget and wonder why you aren't getting any notifications etc.

Still not sure if I understand what you want, but as someone that uses dnd and just leaves the toggle on, I have the settings set to certain hours. When it's within those hours, the notification appears (night time). When it's not within those hours, it does not appear (day time). If you're trying to have it on, but not appearing, you're possibly out of luck.

In addition, i don't see the harm in having the notification overnight. I have the hours set to my typical sleeping schedule, so I don't even see it, unless I go to bed late.

I use DND 24x7 so that the only audible sound is the ringer. If I have to deal with it, no biggie. Just thought there might be a way to turn it off..

Actually, this IS a biggie!

The problem with the notification being there is that it blocks your owner information, weather and pedometer on the lockscreen. Really useful, or at least handy, information lost.

I too use DND 24/7 for the same reason, since the priority mode went (it was great, why did they lose it?), it's the only way that I can have my phone alert me for the contacts I want (ie my priority ones) and not the rest. This is a real retrograde step.

So, anyone, how can we get rid of the DND notification on the lock screen? It can be done, turn off all notifications from the lock screen does it.

This in itself baffles me - if they assume we need to be continuously notified about being on DND so don't give us the option to turn the notification off, why is it that you can if you turn off all notifications?

Just so I can get this right too.

I like to have my phone set to DND between 2200hrs and 0600hrs daily. With the previous version of Android it worked fine. With this version I had to turn it back on after update and now it tells me all day everyday that DND is on when my screen is locked or I slide down my notifications bar. It is displayed 24/7 even though I have quite clearly set it to only be active between 2200hrs to 0600hrs.

Why? I know it is on at night I set it, why does it have to tell me that I have it set, even when it is not active and please don't tell me to turn my notifications off. That's how I found this forum, trying to work out how to get my notifications to appear again on my lock screen after the new upgrade.

I don't like the screen colours and general feel of lollipop. If I knew I would have not updated.
All I am asking for is what we had before the upgrade. Notifications on my lock screen and no notification that I have DND active, even though at the time it is not active. I don't care if it comes on at night on my lock screen when I am asleep.

seeing that this is a few months old, idk how it ever worked out for you but if you click do not show notifications , it will not show on the lock screen

Try this....
Long press the dnd notification on the lock screen and you will be taken to system ui settings. Once there enable hide notification from lock screen option.
Worked for me.
