do we need all these google apps?

traded my lg g2 for a s4 today, because of the screen flickering and trying to disable some att bloatware, do we need all the google apps like google music, books, tv, google settings, google: also, is it ok to disable flipboard, mobile tv, s memo, att smart wifi, chat on, group play, watch on? thanks for the help

You can disable most of that stuff. There really isn't a reason why not. I would just stick to blatantly obvious stuff like the ones you mentioned. If they have a .com or the Android guy as the app icon, leave them be.

I did forget to mention something. Google Settings is kind of important, if you want to activate Android Device Manager to remotely wipe your phone.
