Do XO Skins regenerate?

So after putting up with a bad quality (and very bad application) of the screen protector that came with my TPU case, I ordered an XO skin and installed it last week. Just a few days after I put it on, I got some glittery stuff on it somehow, I think it came from some envelopes with gold on it that I had in my pocket. I tried to wipe it off, many times and I guess one of the times I got some decent sized scratches on the XO skin. It's been roughly 24 hours and the scratches are still there. Should I just get them to send the replacement right away?

First, i would spray the affected area with the installation spray they provide and then buff the wet screen with a nice microfiber cloth. If that doesnt work, yeah try for the exchange.
