I've recently started thinking about buying video content off of the play store. I've done this a bit on my iPhone and ipad, but now that I have a nexus 4 I, considering starting to buy most things off the play store instead of iTunes because I might be getting the next nexus when that hits rather than whatever the new ipad mini will be (ill weigh my options further when these things get discussed more)

But I am a tad worried about buying video content off of the play store Sheryl due to accessibility. On iTunes, I can access my purchased shows or movies on my TV through a Apple TV and apple also has AirPlay. And I do know that I can view my video content from the web browser.

Even though I think google might have something similar to AirPlay, I still don't know of a way to get google play video content on your home TV.

I think the nexus Q was going to do this, but god knows when that thing is coming out, if ever.

So I. Curious if anyone here on the board buys alot of video co tent off the play store and how they find that experience.

I think you can use something like Miracast to project your phone's screen content on to your TV screen (like Airplay). And if you use Google TV (you can buy a box for $99, Google TV), you can use it as a standalone device that can access the Play Store including Play Movies & TV).

So what was the nexus q supposed to be? A upgraded Google TV?
