Only in the form of community based releases such as CyanogenMod.

I would say only in the form of AOSP. Nothing from htc or sprint.

Ya got to agree with Smoke on this one. Our eVo's are almost EOL with Sprint and HTC has a whole new crop of devices out and coming out.

Ducks bit as they say... Time marches on.

Our best and only bet is a AOSP custom rom...

It would be nice, and probably the easiest to assemble, but I don't think it's gonna happen. Remember that they make money by creating new eye-candy that requires new hardware to run. I suppose it could happen, I just seriously doubt it.
