Do you leave 4G on?

well i am in an office building where i don't get 4g for 8 hours a day. and it will be searching for signal that whole time correct?

at home i have wifi so i'm not worried about it. its mainly at work which is 40 hours a week where it will be searching for signal.

I leave 4G on. I turned it off one day to compare battery life. I was only able to get an additional 45 minutes of use out of it. Not significant enough for me to leave 4G off.

I leave it off unless I need it. When I'm home I'm at the very end of the 4G coverage so it barely holds on to the connection and sometimes loses it. Then when I'm at work there is no 4G so it's always searching for it, killing my battery. I notice a big difference when it's off vs on.

I have 4G everywhere I am and then wifi while at home so... yeah rocking fast speeds

I have 4G turned off all the time, because it is the only way to stop constantly losing service. Being able to make/receive calls > fast data.

i didn't realize the voice service is tied to 4G or 3G? i thought it was totally separate. though i have noticed while on a call, if i switch from 4G to 3G, my call is disconnected. anyone know how the voice service ties in with 4G?

I Never turn off my 4g. I have it where I live, but where I work they don't. I still never touch it and battery life is great.

I think your call should not be cut off, as the 3g-4g switches the data, not the voice.....correct?

I turned mine off because I cant get 4G in my office and I have WiFi at home. I do turn it on when I need the speed, and its available.

When I have it off it does seem to help with battery life.

Quick Question.... is there an APP that can be turned on to see if your area is 3G or 4G LTE...? I would like to see how my area compares...

This should be a poll. I leave it on all the time. I have an extended battery, spare and chargers everywhere, I don't worry about battery life.

I only turn mine on when using a lot of data to save battery and works well for me and the battery. Only problem is it gets caught up and I lose data connection and have to reboot sometimes to re-establish data.
