Do You Like Your S3?

I came to the S3 after my Evo4G dumped and Sprint acted like Verizon does to many who needed an early upgrade. I had an S2, but sold it as it was more like a Samsung Evo4G than anything new. I tried a GNex, but it had abysmal reception and battery life, so it was gone a week later. I have the S3 now and use Nova Launcher Prime and Swiftkey 3. This phone is perfect. Literally PERFECT. (Samsung's predictive text needs a serious rework) I see no need to root it, and no need to flash another ROM on it. A year from now, if I get bored, I may seek out a vanilla Android version which is what I prefer on a phone, but only if I can keep the same reception I currently have. I only have the 16GB one, with a 16GB SD Card in it, but it is plenty for me.

Adjust the predictive text point to 4 or 5...

Hey all,

I'm trying to get rid of my Thunderbolt. It has been really nothing but problems since day 1. I'm looking into the S3, or if an S4 drops before that - great! For those who have had their S3 for a while are you happy with it? Does it drop data often or is that not a problem? Does Google Maps work often, or does it have issues 50% of the time? Do you like the camera?

Thanks so much!

The S3 is an awesome phone. I have it and use it. For me the only areas it is lacking in are on the OS and not being able to get it to work on my Mac VIA USB

I just got my S3 today and I can't put it down. It's an awesome phone. I came from the Thunderbolt which I really liked...but this phone is miles ahead.

I even get 4G now in places where my Bolt would drop to 3G.

Love my phone. No issues. No drops. Only thing I don't like is the bookmark widget. So I adjusted. Wouldn't give this up. Get a blue one.

I LOVE THIS PHONE!!!! If you want to know the ways, you can look at my thread about the things I DO like about my phone. :)

Just wanted to say that it looks like the note 2 will have SwiftKey 's predictive text included.

Also, you cannot go wrong with this phone. I am running jellybean and it is frigging awesome.

Love my S3. I came from a T Bolt and haven't looked back. This phone is so much night and day difference you won't be disappointed. However I'd also consider waiting for the Note 2 if a phablet is more your style. Coming frk m the T Bolt indent think the S3 is really that big as I've heard some claim. 0.7 inches more than the S3 I really don't think would be that much of a difference. I guess my point is that if you think an S3 is approaching "too big" then Note 2 maybe too much for you. Otherwise if I was having to choose right now I'd probably go for the Note 2 because it's the S3 on steriods. Of course not to take anything at all away from the S3. Love all the features. Motion gestures rock. Smart stay is awesome. Screen is gorgeous. You can't go wrong
