Do you read/click on FaceBook ads?

(The ad attachment is broken.)

How the ad is presented is of major importance.
All pop-ups are bad.
All pop-unders are bad.

Animated ads and video ads are very annoying.

A small, static ad over on the margin of the screen is acceptable.

Oooops, the attachment should be working now :p Thx!

And thanks for your mercy to ads! Lol And that opinion specifics are quite important!! For a user's perspective >3<

I don't really click on the ads. However, I do read them and will click anything that seems super and i mean super interesting which can be rare at times.

Yeah, me as well. I do quick read on the ads, but normally don't click them. Except those which are super in your words. What is weird is that sometimes even the ads is quite fun, and might be my type, I try not to click into it, only because I know that it is an ad........

Thanks you guys for your reply!!!!

Seems that most of you guys think ads as super annoying and worthless reading. Although I myself as a user feels the same, but it's quite depressing as someone who want to take a shot on FB ads campaign. Guess have to take it a second thought.

So, is it because the way the ads represents that annoys you, or it's because the Advertisement is born not trustworthy? :(

Let's take this as an example, it was supposed to be shown to all those who are not in a relationship.

I was pretty confident at this ad at first, but do please wake me up guys! If you have any opinions about it!

would you take a second glance or maybe click on that?

p.s. The four Chinese character on the button of the right side is 'install now'

I would not click on that.
I would find a way to ad-block it.

I rarely click on any kind of ad. I can't even recall the last time an ad persuaded me to look further into a product/service. Word of mouth actually causes me to look at something closely. The fact that a friend even suggests service/product speaks louder than the most expensive ad during the Super Bowl.

yeah, Facebook do know us very well. In the ads campaign, we can set targeting users in very specific details. From their hobby/religion/status... any detail info that could be posted onto it.

Yes, I have noticed specifically tailored topics in the ads spaces lately... :P.

Yeah, word of mouth is the most powerful way. But as to a new app, have to admit that impressions means something, at least to me. The side-bar ads of the game called Stack by Ketchapp has been appeared to me for many times at first, and then it happened to be in an article I glanced at, that's when I decided to give it a try. p.s. normally I don't rely too much on game reviews.

So if this scam thing happen on your device a lot, would you consider other ads that pop up annoying as well? So that almost all of them become not-worth-reading?
I have experienced too many of those pop-up ads.

On Android, it's even more annoying. You sometimes get randomly taken to websites that try to scare you into downloading malware or crapware by saying that your phone "has 999999 viruses!" or "You need to update System Launcher or your device will explode!" or other BS similar to those. Bear in mind, I have experienced that, especially on that one time where I was testing out an LG G3 that I literally unboxed 10 minutes ago.

I normally don't use ad-blockers, because I like to support my content creators. In fact, I'm even going to consider subscribing to YouTube RED and give some donations to my favorite content creators. However, if you're going to shove an ad down my throats, or attempt to scam me with a very obvious fake ad, then I'm sorry, but you deserve the adblock.
