Do you still get 4g service if 4g lte is not running

Just a question.....I haven't heard or read about this ....lte is not running yet...I use 4g alot on my gs2'... I'm thinking about getting gs3 ....Amy thoughts ???

Sadly it won't support Wimax 4G. You will be on 3g until the lte 4G is available. This is the only reason why I haven't gotten one yet.. I am one of the lucky few who can get some Wimax around my town
