Dock settings? Can't get new S4 to work with dock apps. Help!

Ok, I switched from an S3 to an S4. Found out my charger in my Ibolt car dock won't charge my phone. Bought a new Ibolt car dock that works with my S4. I have tried every possible setting I can think of to get this thing to automatically switch to the car dock app when I put the phone into the cradle with zero success! AARRGGHH!!! Getting really frustrated here. I've tried the Ibolt car dock app as well as Ultra Car Dock app. I can't get either to start up when I dock the phone. Can someone figure this out for me, please? Thanks in advance.

Try settings...My Device....Accesory...i have the Ibolt and it works with the DeskHome Screen & audio output checked....

am curious, which I-Bolt do you have? I ordered the cheaper one by mistake(I-bolt S charging dock) but then realized that it's much bulkier, covers up the power button and will be hard to pull the phone in and out. So I will send it back and I ordered the X-Pro Dock. I don't know how they will each work with the docking functions, but the physical design on the x pro looks better.
