Hello..
I own a Sony docking system with adapter for iPhone 4/4s. So I put an iPhone in the cradle and it charges and when I put the alarm I can wake up using the music on the iPhone.
The thing is that I changed the iPhone for a S4 and I want an adapter to put the s4 charging and doing its job ( if possible)!
Can you help me ?
Please pictures attached.
Where can I buy what I need, if I can make the changes...

I read wanted to make the docking useful with the s4!
Thanks a lot

I'm not aware of any such device, and doubt one exists. Apple's proprietary standards are designed to not play well with anything else.

A Google for "female iphone 30 pin connector to micro usb adapter" found me this. However the reviews are mixed. You'd probably end up with similar results to what I stated below.
Perhaps you can use an auxiliary input on the system? I believe most should have an input. You should be able to get the same features that you had through the same on-phone features as before - but you need to charge independently.

Apple really does make the coolest adapters.

LOL

Sorry couldn't resist.

I would look into AUX Input or Bluetooth, cheap and guaranteed to work. My sister bought third party off eBay and wasted $10.

Apple sells a lightning to micro USB adapter, but I am not sure if it will actually charge your device. It should, since apple is using standard microusb on the adapter, but you would have to actually try.

There wouldn't be an option that would allow you to play the music though, besides an aux cable.

Can you point me what products you're talking about?

The problem is that I need the inverse adapter male/female thing.... I can't find the right one... Can you point me the right one?

If you just want to save your dock and use it for streaming your music, I had a Sprint
AnyCom A2DP Bluetooth adapter laying around and used it to save my Logitech
portable speaker system.

Love the sound on this unit and didn't want to have to pitch it since the move from
iPhones.

Don't think the Sprint product is available any longer, but there are some for sale on
Amazon at various prices.

That's an idea... But a little bit expensive and specially let's say that wastes battery of s4... By the way I think the battery drains a bit faster that my iPhone 4... What about the sound quality? Is it good???? With the Bluetooth adapter? What brand of the receptor do you recommend?

Hi. Di you get anywhere with this? I have the exact same docking system, except iphone 5 connector, and need to adapt to my samsung galaxy a3. If there is no solution, i'm going back to my iphone
Many thanks,
Laura
