Docs To Go vs. Polaris

I'm considering buying Docs To Go's full version after endless bits of info loss this past week from Polaris not having an auto save among other missing options. What does Docs To Go have that makes it much better?

Auto save?
File Backup?
Is the UI better than Polaris, and if so how?

I'm also pissed off that it doesn't save to Google docs. Once the document exists you can no longer just upload and overwrite.

Basically no autosave and no autosync with Google docs which is real, real poor.
