documents to go preminum or office suite pro

Could someone explain to me why google docs doesn't have an app in the market place to have direct access to Google docs? Am I missing something?
Seems to me that with a google phone I should be able to use google docs and not a third party such as docs2 go.

If you found an answer you would solve one of the great mysteries of the world.

Took forever to get a decent rss reader from them.
