Does 2.2 include HTML email?

Let me clarify.....does the stock email client in 2.2 support HTML email for activesync? I know there are apps like Touchdown and K9 but I like the stock client.

Html e-mail worked on 2.1 with the stock HTC mail app with activesync, it continues to work the same way with 2.2... Not sure why you say it doesn't work on 2.1....

Maybe the exchange version you use is too old to suppirt it?

Um, ActiveSync has supported HTML email for me since day one... Sounds like and IT setup problem on their end.

It's Exchange 2003...does that support HTML email?

The issue is with Exchange 2003, Android is not pulling html email. However this is an Android limitation because other email exchange clients like Touchdown are able to display html email from Exchange 2003

I have an Evo and am testing a Droid X. On the same exchange server with the same account, the Droid X pulls html where the Evo does not. I am on a server running Exchange 2003. It seems to be a problem with stock support (assumed stock as I don't think HTC would turn the capability off) of html out of Exchange 2003.

I have Exchange 2010 and still no HTML with activesync. Is there something our IT department needs to do? Incredible.

Exchange 2007, EVO running 2.2. HTML email in the stock client works fine. Also worked when my EVO was 2.1.
