Does a cable like this even exist?

Figured I would post here to start. I recently got CM9 installed on my HP Touchpad and with ICS installed it feels very similar to a giant version of my Nexus. I wanted to transfer some apps and data from my Nexus to the Touchpad without msessing with my soon to be retired netbook, so I connected both devices to wifi and used an FTP app toturn my nexus into a server that I could connect my touchpad to. It worked but was a little slow even over wifi and it would have been impossible over 3g.

Since the touchpad only has a micro USB port for charging and the nexus also has only a micro USB port for charging, does anyone know if there is a way to tether them with any kind of micro to micro adapter so that they could communicate with each other and transfer files as 2 MTP devices?

If the Touchpad supports Mass Storage mode, you can just get an OTG cable (they're cheap and plentiful, just search on your favorite electronics site and you should find a slew). This will let you set up your Touchpad in Mass Storage Mode so it looks like a USB memory stick. Now plug the OTG cable into the Nexus and a regular micro USB cable into the OTG dongle and the Touchpad.

It's two cables, but the OTG cable will be useful for other reasons as well. You may also want StickMount on your Nexus to make things easier.

I prefer the short cable versions, but there are also small adapters.
