I've tried that and I mite not be doing something rite. I'm having the most trouble with the command prompt. I can get it into fastboot and everything but still no cheese on the taco. Maybe I'm saving the files right I have no idea. Please give me a little more help. Like maybe a video or a more intune step by step process. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Please help I only have 3 days left to get this phone rooted to see if I like it or not. I had no problem rooting my galaxy s. And I'm have a hard time rooting this milestone x2. I really like this phone and would like to keep it but I can't root it I need to get my galaxy back. I am having the most trouble with the command prompt I can not get past that part. Please someone give me a little more step by step instructions.

The problem that I having is after I get my command prompt up,I type in cd\root and the the message pops up saying "the system cannot find the path specified" so where am I going wrong or what am I not doing right ?

Nevermind I got it. I was doing the process wrong.
