I am looking at this phone for my wife. Anybody have anything to say about it?.

Yep, it's a sweet phone. I bought one in mint fresh condish from my neighbor. Rooted it, and all that... Now I need to switch it over to Sprint. Or sell it off.

I've had mine since Jan 4 and it's a really good phone for being "entry level" by today's standards. It blows my previous phone away (Samsung Moment on Sprint) even though they have almost identical specs as far as processor speed, camera resolution etc. The Samsung was laggy and constantly buggy, nothing ever scrolled smoothly, phone crashed randomly regardless of signal strength or wifi etc.
The Enlighten is so much more responsive, everything scrolls smoothly and the battery life is light years better. There are a couple of minor things about the Enlighten I'm not fond of, the camera has no flash, and the home/back/menu buttons are hard click instead of soft tap like the Samsung. Otherwise the Enlighten is tons better.

One caveat to keep in mind is that so far LG doesn't seem to have any plans to upgrade the Enlighten to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, which means Gingerbread is as good as it will get. I'm just guessing they're only going to upgrade the higher end phones that cost a lot of money and have fancy dual core processors. Wish I had one but until I'm working again the Enlighten will do fine.

Good luck with that Sprint switchover. Carriers will fight to activate a phone from another's network. Then there is the whole issue of Sprint's crappy network, which is why I left them after 10 years and went Verizon. You get what you pay for, which isn't much with Sprint.
