Hi everyone,

I'm still in the process of wrapping my head around Android (in my case, Nougat) on my newly-acquired Leagoo T5C, and after installing Oreo UI, I realize I know how to add widgets to the home screen... But I don't know how to remove them...!

I've tried a long press on them (that doesn't give me any options, other than resizing them, which doesn't work either), swiping them left, right, up, down, nothing works, and I don't find anything in Oreo UI settings on how to make them go away.

Can you guys help?

Long press and hold, do not remove your finger from them, and they should pop up. You can then move them around or drag them to the 'x' or trash bin that appears to delete them.

Thank you, both of you: I've indeed noticed the "Remove" option, top right screen, with an "X" marking the spot, and I've managed to remove the widgets, but it took a lot of patience.

I've since uninstalled Oreo UI altogether.

Still searching for the "perfect" launcher: right now, I'm running ADW, and it's not half-bad, I must say. I've tried Nova, Evie, and a bunch of others.

I'm kind of a flake, that way... :p

I'm back to using Nova. Of the ones I've tried, it comes closest to Android N native appearance and function, while enhancing functionality on my Moto Z2. Especially with the TeslaUnread add-on to provide unread counter badges on more apps than the native launcher supports.
