Does anyone actually use priority mode? If so, tell us how you use it

I pretty much cycle my phone between volume all the way up or all the way down to vibrate only. When I don't want to be disturbed I put it in airplane mode, which has the added benefit of saving battery over priority or none (and alarms still work). When I take it out of airplane mode I get all of my notifications.

Despite this system working well for me, I feel like I may be missing out on something useful by never using priority mode. Tell us how YOU use it and why you find the feature useful.

I use priority mode. Mainly due to I still want people who call to be able to contact me if an emergency arises.

I have it set to automatically engage Priority mode from 10:00 PM until 7:00 AM. If my son, my mother, or a few select others try to reach me, they will get through (because they are starred contacts); for anything else the phone stays silent trough the night.
