I think it goes on sale on the 27th. You may be able to order it, but it probably won't ship any time before the street date.

My local Best Buy already has them in-stock, but NOT for sale. They have them locked up in those wire cages behind the Geek Squad counter with a big "NOT FOR SALE" sign. I counted about 24 8.4(at least 18 were white ones) and 17 10.5(didn't count the colors, since I was only interested in the white 8.4 model)

It is Best Buy... not too hard to find an employee who may accident sell it by mistake. or just wait 3 more days? I pre-ordered mine from a big online retailer because I don't agree with the 9.5% city/state combined sales tax.
