I have some pics I would like to use as a wallpaper. I have tried long clicking them selecting set as wallpaper. Then I have to crop it with that yellow box. The thing is when I make the box as big as possible it still doesn't cover the entire picture and makes it grainy when it set it at the wallpaper. I got these pic off of another rom than I am currently running so I know they can look good. How can place them in the folder that has all wallpapers that came with the rom? I am running Apex 10.1.

Thanks Brodie

That's how it supposed to work. It took me a minute to figure this out too.

It's making you crop your photos to the native 960x800 our phones use.

You can try resizing them through your computer's photo editor of choice- there is also a free app called "Wallpaper Set & Save" that will do it's best to do a quality resize for you automatically. Don't let its plain jane looks fool you. It's a decent and handy tool. It'll also help you rip whatever wallpaper is currently on-screen...a simple way to nab those "stock" wallpapers from OEM and aftermarket launchers, etc.

Awesome. I noticed that the best way is to have one folder named "wallpapers" and keep them all in it. The app does let you manually browse to whatever folder you like but it's monotonous clicking as the app always defaults back to the "wallpapers" folder eventually.

My wallpaper folder has over 400 images in it. I get a lot of use out of this app.

I did that and converted several pics to .png. I have been unable to get these new .pngs to show up in the gallery. Basically I am running into the same problem of losing quality but now it's with the lock screen wallpaper. Any advice?

Nevermind just had to reboot the phone
