Does anyone know what the tiny ball like symbol is for on the Samsung S8?

That looks like a "link to" link, linking to Twitter and 3 services whose icons aren't downloading.

And I believe you have to make 10 valid (meaning conversations with others about something having to do with Android or Android devices) posts to post a picture. It will show as a kind of picture in a frame to the right of the globe with the red X on the link at the top of the window you type in. Hovering over it will bring up "Insert Image".
