Does anyone know what the sim card icon with a question mark means on the lock screen?

My phones OS is: Oreo
My Phones model is: IMO Q3 Plus

Does your cell service work?
Often SIM card and SD card icons look similar, is it possible this is actually related to your SD card? Do you have one in the phone and does THAT work?
Where on the lock screen do you see it?
