Does anyone use a different (virtual) keyboard?

I tried using FlexT9 keyboard on the MyTouch 4G Slide, but it won't work. Anyone knows why? Does anyone use a different keyboard (other then the stock keyboard)?

SwiftKey has its foibles, but generally is quite good.

Thanks. Problem is, I can't get a different keyboard to override the stock keyboard. That's my problem. No matter what keyboard I download (swiftkey or otherwise), it won't work.

I use thumb keyboard.
I like it because you can customize it separately for portrait and landscape mode.
After you install your keyboard, press and hold Amy text entry area and click the input method option...
Then select the keyboard you want to use.

My issue is all the other keyboards are UGLY lol... I like Swype and thats what I'm sticking with for now. I just hate it doesn't have any themes. Mainly dig it because I can just slide and it writes fast for me.

I had Touch Pal Pro which is pretty cool but it just seems too bunched up.

I've had every keyboard in the market so its really just a matter of personal preference.
