Ok my brother in law lost his job and wants to come over to my family plan but keep the same number and of course his unlimited data. Which of course is the main reason he doesnt just want me to add a line and go on the new plans verizon has. Now if i do a aol (assumption of liability) for his individual lines will his plan stay intact and i can just add him for 9.99 a month plus of course his unlimited data? I have gotten conflicting info from verizon csr some yes some no. My wife hand i have two smartphones with unlimited data and don't want to lose it. Has anyone done a aol after the jun 28th cutoff and has successfully transferred a unlimited data plan. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Tell him to take a hike. Send him to metropcs. Stop being a niceguy. You already got his sister piggybacking on your credit. Whose next? Mother in law?

Sorry he lost his job. I was unemployed a year but kept my verizon paid. It was tough but I needed my service. He can temporarily suspend his service for 90 days if he thinks he can find a job in 90 days. Or he can keep it on and try finding a job. I wouldnt take responsibility for his phone debt. He can also lower his plan.

To answer your question. I would say no, cause he is now on your plan. You have the shared plan. I asked about adding my mom. That's what I was told. I wish people would stop being such a smart a** on here and answer questions that they have a true answer for.
