Does choosing "Charge Only" when you plug into a USB port act like "Disk Drive" also?

Even though I choose "Charge Only" when i plug the phone in, it still treats it like if I had chosen "Disk Drive". I'm not able to access my SD card when i want to do things with the phone.

What do you mean that it stir treats it like it is in disk drive? If you choose charge only, you shouldn't have access to your SD card. You have to set it to disk drive to access your media card. You can change the setting to disk drive automaticallywhen you connect to your computer.

i want it to charge ONLY, meaning i waant access to my SD card from the phone, NOT the PC.

right now, choosing "Charge Only" will have my PC access the SD card, therefore i won't be able to use it on the phone.

I have the same problem. Can't access the SD card from the phone while it is USB charging.

And under settings/applications/ USB debug is not checked.

problem is now fixed. another user reported if you have doubletwist installed, it has a setting in the app that defaults to "Act like USB disk drive". Turning that feature off has solved this problem. :)

That was it. Thanks!
