does extending internal storage from phone storage possible?

I bought my new phablet that was powered by 4.1

im shocked with how the manufacturer of my device(cherry mobile) designated their storage. the phone storage is 2gb and internal is 500 mb.

it is not a problem if i could write apps on phone storage by default but even though the 'write to phone storage' is checked, when i downloaded an app, the internal storage still losses free space.

so is it possible to extend internal storage? thanks!

Welcome to Android Central! Unfortunately, there's not much you can do. That's really low storage by today's standards, and even if you could start installing apps into the Internal Storage, you still wouldn't have much room. An external SD card also wouldn't help, because you generally can't install apps to that.
